The Titusville Herald reports that two Pennsylvanian adults are going to court for allegedly tattooing an obscene term on a 12-year-old who was spending the night. Probably because they were all out of goodie bags. I hate when that happens.
Randall Charlton III and Melissa Becker hosted the minor in their trailer in May and instead of making her popcorn and telling scary ghost stories that might make her pee the bed later that evening, they gave her something much more lasting: A tattoo that says "bitch" on her left forearm. They also added a smiley face, just to make sure that everyone who saw the tattoo knew that the girl was hella cool and also very friendly. "It's not the mean kind of bitch, okay? I'm like Trina."
According to court documents, the girl told her hosts (she was spending the night with one of their children) that her mom way okay with her getting a tattoo as long as it was a small one ("just like nothing big, okay? But don't call her to ask because she's like sleeping or watching TV. GAWD, moms, you know?"). The adults took her at her word because children never lie and proceeded to bust out their home tattooing kit to give the girl her first ink — a rite of passage as important as a period party. No one bothered to call the girl's mother who was most certainly not okay with her preteen getting the word "bitch" tattooed all up on her body. And no, the happy face didn't seem to help.
Charlton, who is a registered sex offender, was charged with "aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a minor." He is being held on $20,000 bond. The bond is considered to be appropriate due to Charlton's former crimes of sexual battery as well as his failure to register as a sex offender when he moved out of state.
Becker has been charged with "endangering the welfare of a child, corruption of minors, simple assault and tattooing and piercing a minor."
Reports vary wildly when it comes to who did the actual tattooing. The 12-year-old named Charlton but the other children in the trailer state that Charlton only held the power supply while Becker did the actual tattooing. Both adults have already been convicted of being complete and total fucking idiots in the first degree.
