Well, Olivia Pope and her band of merrymakers returned to us last night, and as usual, the episode was twisty-turny, complicated and fast-paced. Let's do a quick review, shall we?
As seen in the clip above, Papa Pope, the scariest man in America, threatened to kill the President, who happens to be his daughter's boyfriend. "Fitzgerald Grant is not going to make it to the end of his term." Treason much? "Watch me."
We always knew Sally Langston was crazier than a top hat full of bats but she's doing the backstroke in the deep end of the pool now. "I didn't kill my husband. The devil murdered my husband when he snuck inside me." Um, okay lady. Leo Bergen's face at the end of this speech had me laughing so hard snot shot out of my nose.
Nothing good is happening in this Quinn/Charlie storyline. Let's not even discuss it.
Lunch with Mellie: FUN!
OMFG ADNAN SALIF!
She's so pretty.
Okay: Your Olivia Pope Moment Of The Week. Instead of focusing on how she made out with Fitz in the Oval Office more than once and their relationship continues to be exhaustingly problematic, let's concentrate on this:
Fake it 'til you make it. Command Jake > Fitz.
Theory: One of these people will die.
Footnote and by the by: Someone's been watching House of Cards. James Novak is not Publius, Publius is actually Frank Underwood on a burner at Freddy's.
