Riley Curry Graciously Allows Her Parents to Have a New Baby Curry

Golden State Warriors’ unofficial mascot Riley Curry, along with her parents Stephen and Ayesha, welcomed a new baby girl into the family on Friday. Here’s hoping the family’s real MVP will be able to share the spotlight.

Ayesha Curry, author of the fantastic letter to disgruntled sports fans who complained about her two-year-old daughter being two, announced the new addition to their family via her blog:

“The gift of life is truly an indescribable thing,” she wrote. “We were fortunate enough to experience it all over again friday night! Our beautiful little Ryan Carson Curry arrived perfectly healthy and happy!”

Mama Curry brought Ryan into the world without an epidural, so let’s all clench for a minute and clap for her. As for Riley, her mom says she’s “completely enamored with her little sister and has taken on her role as big sister beautifully.”

Good luck, Ryan: Riley’s left some pretty adorable shoes to fill, but we’re sure the whole Curry clan feels blessed.
