Reese Witherspoon to Star in Cheryl Strayed's Wild

Reese Witherspoon is set to star and produce in the film adaptation of Cheryl Strayed’s Wild. The memoir recounts Strayed’s solo hike of some 1,000 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail, from the Mojave desert all the way to Washington State. Filming will begin in late fall and a director hasn’t yet been chosen, but let’s all cross our fingers for Michael Bay — that guy just needs to catch a break. I think he could be huge.
