Reader Gift Guide: What Are You Getting Your BFF This Year?

The holidays are the only one time of the year when you can drop all those no let me pay, no really, I got it this time pretensions with your nearest and dearest and get them a gift that truly says 'I'm glad I didn't believe to all that shitty gossip about you that I spread back in the eighth grade because you are absolutely the BEST friend I could possibly ever have!'

Every year at Jezebel we do our own special, kooky series of gift guides, and this year will be no exception. But you guys are probably already putting together your shopping lists or making purchases, so this week we'll focus on what you, the readers, are giving this season. Ideas aplenty! Today's installment: gifts for your BFF.

This is going to work just like our Fall Fashion Shopping List. The rules:

1. Please don't leave regular/direct comments on this post. Shopping submissions only! You can, however, comment on the submissions.

2. Items should be available online. We want to buy the cool trinket you found! Give us the link!

3. Avoid duplicates. If someone posts the thing you were absolutely planning on buying too, please avoid making a second entry for it. Instead, just chime in beneath their comment.

4. Follow this format for your entries:

X-men Classic Birthday Cake Topper Featuring Professor X, Cyclops, Magneto, Iceman, Jean Grey, Archangel, Beast and Other Themed Decorative Pieces, $39.99 at Amazon.com

When your best friend is the star of one of the world's biggest box office franchises, and coincidentally so are you, it's pretty much a no-brainer that your gift-giving should feed the comic book/film industry comodification. What better way to celebrate the fact that you're both old awesome millionaires than to decorate the top of your next holiday cake with a memento of that time when you kicked his ass or that other time when he kicked your ass. Nothing says 'you're my BFF' more than miniaturized weirdly shaped versions of yourself.
