Raven-Symoné's Got Wacky Opinions, Amazing Hair

As the resident youth vote on The View, Raven-Symoné—who has yet to be given a full-time spot on the panel but has Whoopi’s support—spends most of her time yammering on somewhat nonsensically about a bevy of topics. It’s her job, and she’s great at it! Unfortunately for Raven, what’s on her head is far more interesting than what’s coming out of her mouth.

Some of Raven’s recent greatest hits include her belief that Harriet Tubman should not be on the $20 bill, her suggestion that stay-at-home mothers be paid for their work (by whom?) or even every facial reaction she made in this segment about makeup with Molly Sims and Bobbi Brown. But unlike her words and faces, her scalp creations aren’t just her own; they’re brought to life with the help of Yancey Edwards, the hairstylist for the show (the two often pose in Instagrams together showing off their work). And what work it is: compiled below are Raven-Symoné’s looks from just the past month, which don’t even appropriately show off some of her best sartorial choices. At this rate, she may burn through all her kooky ideas before she gets a permanent gig.

For awhile, Raven-Symoné was rocking variations on a head of hair shaved at the sides, with a long bleach-blonde mohawk down the center.

She got frisky with it.

But eventually, she tired of that look, moving on to longer locks in a purple/grey color.

Then she cycled back to the short, really kickin’ it up a notch, as Emeril Lagasse would say.

Today, Raven toned it down again. Sort of.

Go ahead Raven-Symoné! Whatever gets the people talking.
