Rashida Jones' New Show Is About the 'Dangerous' Lives of Manicurists

Latest

If you’ve ever sat in your apartment wondering, ‘What is my nail technician doing right now?’ Rashida Jones has your back. Jones and her writing partner Will McCormack have sold a new show to HBO called Claws and it depicts a “midnight-dark workplace dramedy-noir about a nail salon in Florida and the strange, dangerous women who work there.” Snapped with gel manicures, perhaps? Count me in.

Claws, Deadline reports, is the third sale for Jones and McCormack’s Le Train Train production company, following their emo, LA feature film, Celeste and Jesse Forever, which cast Jones alongside Andy Samberg (I’m still sniffling over that storyline).

Eliot Laurence, from The Big Gay Sketch Show, will also write and co-executive produce Claws.
