If you planned on seeing fashion designer and occasional social media user Rachel Roy during Monday night’s “Mastering Your Métier” seminar, I have the unfortunate task of relaying some bad news: something suddenly came up, so she canceled.

BuzzFeed is reporting that everyone scheduled to see Roy at Monday’s event just received an email that read, in part:

“Due to a personal emergency, Rachel Roy has had to cancel this evening’s event. Our apologies for any inconvenience.”
