Enrique Iglesias Had Reconstructive Surgery After that Drone Accident

Drone vs. Enrique update: Enrique Iglesias had reconstructive surgery done on his hand after it was injured in a drone “accident” during a show in Mexico. Why do good drones do bad things?

Enrique kept performing anyway despite his mangled finger, which was wrapped in a bloody t-shirt. That probably didn’t help. The singer was later taken to a hospital in Los Angeles where he had his finger operated on while the drone had the last laugh.

The PR statement via Page Six reads:

“Thank you to all for your concern and good wishes. Enrique is currently undergoing reconstructive hand surgery today. Enrique will resume his tour July 3rd in Mexico City. We appreciate all your wishes and prayers.”

Alas, drones do make beautiful supermodels, but keep them away from concerts. Horrific bloody footage below.
