"This was 1992, second grade, in Omaha, Nebraska. This photographer was obviously skilled in giving cute little girls wonky eyes. I'm positive my mom picked out this dress from K-mart. Second grade memories include the class guinea pig giving birth, and my teacher Miss Hanes telling me not to say 'geez' because it was another way of 'taking the lord's name in vain.'
