"Our outfits are part of a series of lovely outfits purchased by my grandmother during our childhood. As far as I remember, each outfit would be worn only once-shortly after their purchase, my parents would dress us up, take us to the Sears photo studio, and have pictures like this one taken. Said pictures still decorate the halls of my parents' house. And as you can imagine, my grandmother loved them. Of course, she would insist that these outfits were "too nice" to be worn at any other time, so they langished in our closet until we passed them on to our youger cousins, who had their pictures taken in quite a few of the outfits as well.

I like this picture because my little brother looks so angelic. He would later grow into a giant 6'3" man who got a job dressing up like Captain Morgan and going to bars."
