@lobrand: YES! Where it's a high school on a cruise ship! HE was definitely my favorite, I guess you could say we have an eye for talent and potential? :)
@LucilleBluth: I really hate that she won the Grammy for Album of the Year over Dave Matthews Band. Like them or not, their album is a showcase for real talent and musical ability while she can barely carry a tune while going on about princes and ponies. Handing her that award is plain offensive and an insult to others who are more talented and deserving of the recognition. I'm still pissed.
@honeybear: Mockingjay was the slowest-paced, in my opinion--and my least favorite BUT I still really enjoyed the series as a whole. I also read all 3 books in a row, so the first and second were still fresh in my mind and easy to compare Mockingjay to. Stick with it though, because it does give resolution to it all. And the last 1/3 of the book (I'm guess-timating) definitely picks up compared to the first 2/3.
@Steve_Holt: Hearted! One, because your name rocks with love for AD, and Second, because I have been there with my kids, felt the same way, and struggle to find anyone else who would have the courage to voice these feelings. It really is comforting to know I'm not a bad mother, that I do the best that I can but I'm only human. It's a relief to know I'm not alone :)
@wliaaw LairofMisandry: That sounds so SO awful. But the way you told your story was so good, I couldn't stop reading! Honestly, if a BMW like that gets totally screwed, what chance does anyone else really have? Glad you made it safely and hope you're feeling better!
I am annoyed. It's lame but I need a rant. Drove to a drive-thru Starbucks tonight in the pouring rain to get some caffeine for me and the hubby. I'm pretty straight forward with my drink, I only ask for whipped cream instead of foam. And my husband likes only 1 shot instead of 2 --not too much I to ask right? Wrong.....and his straw was broken :( I used to work for Starbucks so I understand all that goes into it but come on! If I'm paying $4 per drink, I feel like I'm not asking all that much for them to get wrong. And they get my drink wrong A LOT. And I'm always friendly and ask nicely because crazy people to not get far with their baristas, I know. Boo.
@TheFormerJuneBronson: I actually omitted the maple because I could only find the imitation stuff and my husband really didn't want the maple in it. I thought the icing was so delicious with just the coffee in it but my husband preferred a batch I made with plain icing. But seriously, if you like coffee at all, it is SO GOOD. Let me know what you went with and how it worked out!
@TheFormerJuneBronson: I made them last weekend actually! I thought the rising time would be annoying but it really was quite reasonable since it gave me a chance to clean up after myself or prep for the next step. I made them with my 3 girls and they loved it! Also, I think I ate 3 rolls that night, they were delicious!
@hotpinklovesofa: But.....that means you have to....PLAN AHEAD. Like, "Hmm this job doesn't leave a lot of time to eat, maybe I'll bring something to eat just in case I get devastatingly hungry".
Wow! You must be a genius because surely, these rich people have never thought of that! You know, I bet you could make some good money on this idea....you could call it.....SNACKS!
P.S. In case it isn't obvious I am being super snarky against Zoe and Co. not you, because it seems to me any normal, thinking human being could figure out what you did and bring a flippin' snack.
