Rumday's child is fair of face, Boozeday's child is never out of place, Winesday's child is full of pinot, Thirstday's child has no H2O, Dryday's child is for sober living, Lagerday's child is nothing but giving, But the child who is born at the end on Sinday Is boozy drunk-blind and good and gay.
If you don't ever want to make a sex tape, fine. Don't. But let's point the finger at the husband who is going to release their private sex tape, and not the wife who decided to trust him, ok?
Spacey is already a huge advocate for gay rights. It would probably be more damaging to the cause to force him to be the reluctant poster boy for the LGBT community.
@PaintedTrollop: I agree, but the article makes it seem like the Defense Department is actually making some strides to help victims feel safer and to increase prevention. They're planning on opening a hotline where people can call, instant message or text to increase reporting. I really hope their efforts are real and not just lip service to appease the public.
@///M: I get what you were trying to say. Maybe I'm not properly articulating my point.
The point of the post was that the critic should have been focusing on her performance, not her body. Your comment went on to further elaborate on her body and call her "pretty damned hot" (not beautiful, as you stated to amyltall) which is slightly demeaning and really not necessary.
@amyltall: I was more trying to point out the fact that her being hot has nothing to do with the story in question. Thin =/= hot. Also, it doesn't matter that he's saying it as a "red blooded man" because women also find other women sexually attractive.
There are ways to be supportive without perpetuating the cycle.

Kathy's joke was in poor taste, but I don't think we can fault her for being a product of her environment. Maybe we should turn the blame to the entertainment industry itself instead of the people it produces.
@quietlygoingmad (also on the Jez Kink Squad): God, I've heard that too many times. Safe sex/birth control decisions shouldn't be the woman's responsibility. Both should be involved in preventing the pregnancy. There are two people involved in sex, and there should be two people involved in the consequences.
The bottom line is that it's not fair for someone else to make a decision on what a woman should do with her body, whether it be enduring pregnancy or an abortion.
@Dancingfrog: I have a lot of dresses in my closet that are similar. I got them all at Banana Republic, long sleeve, short sleeve and sleeveless! It's a great dress.
@all: Thank you! I know I'm not much of a baby person, and I'm sure I'll feel differently once he stops just sleeping all the time. It's so comforting to know other people feel the same way!
