They're planning on opening a hotline where people can call, instant message or text to increase reporting. I really hope their efforts are real and not just lip service to appease the public.

Kathy's joke was in poor taste, but I don't think we can fault her for being a product of her environment. Maybe we should turn the blame to the entertainment industry itself instead of the people it produces.

@quietlygoingmad (also on the Jez Kink Squad): God, I've heard that too many times. Safe sex/birth control decisions shouldn't be the woman's responsibility. Both should be involved in preventing the pregnancy. There are two people involved in sex, and there should be two people involved in the consequences.
The bottom line is that it's not fair for someone else to make a decision on what a woman should do with her body, whether it be enduring pregnancy or an abortion.
