@Tom Lewis: You can try Google searching any usernames you've used, and your email address. That is what the hackers are doing, so you want to find all those potential site memberships before they do.
@R_Claw: Because I have actually been watching the show for the last 6 years. I thought Tracie had been, too. Apparently that was a very bad interpretation, as this post of hers clearly demonstrates that she is not watching the same show. This was a drive-by, critical post of the show that demonstrated absolutely NO understanding of LOST or its themes.
I'm leaving now, because yes, this post has really, really rubbed me the wrong way.
I'm too cranky to inflict on the Jezzies at large. ;) theysaidwhat needs a time-out--agreed!
@RizzRustbolt: I was going to work my way through the list, one by one, but I got so damned annoyed I gave up. Because I am clearly watching an entirely different show than the post author, and I can't take the days I would need to explain it.
Widmore: the only question with Widmore is his true motivation, and I'll be shocked if we don't get that answer as it is vitally important to several of our main characters. It will be answered.
@freedc: There is one super-modern house I can think of nearby and it sticks out like a sore thumb, too. Very nice inside, but does not fit at all with the general architectural style of Montclair.
@meechybee: Exactly. Looks very much like The Country Club Of The South in the Atlanta suburbs. Tacky monstrosities almost exclusively purchased by athletes and recording stars.
@Mighty Bomb Jack: Not really. Sonya Walger gave an interview to E! saying they had no clue the show would be canceled when filming the finale and that many things are left open-ended.
Some smart person PLEASE tell me that this satellite problem will not affect the Lost finale? [www.google.com]
From the article: Communications company Intelsat said it lost control of the Galaxy 15 satellite on April 8, possibly because the satellite's systems were knocked out by a solar storm. Intelsat cannot remotely steer the satellite to remain in its orbit, so Galaxy 15 is creeping toward the adjacent path of another TV communications satellite that serves U.S. cable companies.
Galaxy 15 continues to receive and transmit satellite signals, and they will probably interfere with the second satellite, known as AMC 11, if Galaxy 15 drifts into its orbit as expected around May 23, according to AMC 11's owner, SES World Skies.
