And I have a question for NYC Jezzies. I'm going to come to the city with my husband (who has never been). I've been many times but figure you'lll know more than me - when do you think is the best time to come for a visit? We'll be staying with friends in Chappaqua, but will want tom come into the city for shopping/eating/maybe a sports game? Thanks!

@tailfeather: I have no idea what I would do if someone mugged me for my dogs! The only happy thought I can think of is that my rescue dog hates men, and odds are the mugger would be male. And therefore.. he would scare the crap out of the douchebag with his barking! That's my only hope.
