I *love* my Magic Wand, but it takes a lot of pressure & a strong vibe to get me off. Those small ones never did much for me, so if you like those, the Wand might be a bit much for you.
That's so awesome and generous of you! I have struggled with feeding my 9-month-old daughter; strangers helping strangers just warms the cockles of my little heart. :)
Actually lots of moms give donated breastmilk to their babies, if they can't produce enough themselves. It's considered the second-best thing to actually nursing your own baby.
This is definitely really gimmicky and kind of dumb but the whole knee-jerk reaction of, "Eww, gross!" is probably a very telling reason as to why breastfeeding rates are so low here.
@JMae: This is a great question. The people who want to make abortion illegal would be totally within their rights (if this became law) to say that MOST women who say they were raped probably just had unprotected sex with lots of men and now don't want to be pregnant anymore. Hussies.
As a staff member at a college, my guess is that someone on OSU's Board of Trustees found out that they were planning on spending money to pay her to speak and flipped out. But that's just a guess.
@wreath of lights: Yep. Teachers are getting laid off left and right; this is really the least of the school systems' problems right now. I'm not saying it's not something that needs to be fixed, but it's really not a good time.
@An.Innocent.A.Broad: YES! Your friend rocks. I have a seven-month-old (my only child) and we struggled to conceive. But being pregnant & raising a baby has made me more pro-choice than ever.
@frecklewho: Why don't you trust it? It's legit! We've bought several deals for food to places we didn't even know about before they were on Groupon. It's good stuff.
