@TruculentandUnreliable: This horse is almost dead-but let me respond. I never said that this guy's conduct was ok--I only said kissing a minor child with the tongue or whatever wasn't as bad as genital penetration--why would ANYONE equate that with being an apologist?
Now if some people are too sensitive to make that distinction because of personal experiences, then ok. I will probably stay out of these kinds of threads from now on.

I love how get all indignant about me calling SBJ a baby but neglect to point out all the insults hurled my way-including a comment that I be sodomized with a cucumber. Can you imagine the outcry if I ever suggested something like that?
Unlike you, I prefer to debate with people who don't agree with me. What's the point of debating with someone who parrots your every word? Don't you get enough of that already?
@TeeEmEff: So that's the whole rub? All this outcry because I said "minor" as opposed to 7 year old? We all knew the age of the victim in this case. What does it matter if I called the kid a minor or referred to his actual age? This is ridiculous.

I still think most would agree with that. I mean, one appears much more invasive than the other, no? Wouldn't genital penetration be much more painful?
It appears to me that you are looking for something to disagree with me on so you can engage in an argument and accuse me of being unsympathetic to child molestation.

I never said "only" frenching- I never said frenching a little child was ok. In fact, I said it was a crime and disgusting. I only said it wasn't as serious as genital penetration. And having a penis inserted in one's ass, to me, would seem a helluva lot worse than a tongue kiss--which, obviously, cannot be tolerated.
@J.D.Regent: Any belief that I minimized this person's actions was purely manufactured and a result of an intentional distortion of what I originally wrote. And I suspect you, as a rational person, know that to be true.

I was trying to make the point that "frenching" a minor was not as severe as actually penetrating--raping--a minor. Deep kissing or whatever you call it with a 7 year old is disgusting and a crime--but having sex with a minor is even worse.
Who disputes that?
@The Lonely Tourist: I think it's more of what I represent as opposed to what I actually write. (Notice that no one ever refers to a particular post I've made.) To some people here, I personify the white male patriarchy that, apparently, is the cause of all woman suffering.
This forum has pretty turned into much an echo chamber for left-of-center political thought. Dissent from liberal orthodoxy is not tolerated. I have witnessed people post here with views inconsitent with Jezebel elites only to be mocked and told to go away.
I would wager 98% of the commenters are for Obama or Clinton. Anyone who posts from a libertarian or conservative position--which I occasionally do--is attacked personally.

In fact, I am censoring myself more and more these days--I try to stay off more and more posts that I know will lead to this kind of outrage.

I do like engaging people on these boards, though, most of the time. I certainly don't like being called vulgar names.

And why? Cause I am not sure "country justice" is a good idea? I already said I had no sympathy for his miscreant. That doesn't mean taking the law into your own hands is a good idea- and it doesn't mean I am a rape apologist.
