@girlscoutcookie: If you or anyone would like to know why Hillary is a monster (I don't expect you do), read every one of the Hillary-related posts on Andrew Sullivan's website from the past year.
You're beautiful (though not for much longer if you keep smoking), to such an extent I'm really surprised you/other posters are going on about your face and hair so much. Unless the photo is misleading, the only issue (and it's non-trivial) seems to be your posture. Fix that and you'll not only look even better (quite a bit better) but be healthier and happier too.
Holy crap, this website is a sewer for smokers! Explains a lot. :(
@TheUptightMidwesterner: If you haven't, try hypnosis (with someone who comes highly recommended). It can be amazingly effective.
Darwinism at work. He always wins in the end!
I doubt very much the study establishes that those women suffer long-term health problems _as a result of partner violence_. Ditto for the statistics given after that phrase, in the last two sentences of paragraph 1. Correlation is not causation.
WTF? This has been written about for years.
Oh, no! Other Jezzies disagree! Sad face.
Someone who decides to become an international "pop" star, i.e., a non-human entity that collects hundreds of millions of dollars stoking some of humanity's worst appetites -- for porn, fame, garbage art -- and who herself behaves horribly (smoking, drugs, poor diet, promiscuity) has no claim on my sympathy.
Buy stock in companies that make insulin.
Ugh, latest semito-obsessed post by Jessica. Awesome departure from the norm. And this time, touting the preposterous idea that there aren't enough hot Jewish women in entertainment. Make a list, someone. And the numbers only rise, as over the years all the Jews on the business end feel more and more comfortable putting their women in front of the camera. How about they put a few more Indian, Arab, Iranian, Native American and Asian women out there? Then get to your little post?
Our farm subsidies and our past support of dictators rock. It's like we have a magic wand and have spent the past 150 years bopping countries on the head, turning them into golden paradises! *Sniff* -- thanks, kleptocracy!
@charlotte corday: Yes, positive reinforcement is the way to go, for both men and women. This article got passed around a lot two summers ago, but for those who may not have read it:

The only problem with that method is that most would-be trainers lack the maturity to do it well, so in effect they're asking more of their trainee than they themselves are capable of. Also the reason so few dogs are trained well.

What pathetic posts to this thread! She seems great -- her blog is entertaining and funny, and her opinions/rants are unobjectionable to anyone with a spine.

Granted, she doesn't spend all day hitting refresh on Jezebel.com and posting comments, but not everyone can lead such rich lives as you folks.

Nothing you could be aware of -- just wanted to write something for the enjoyment of all the non-posting folks who're reading the thread and cringing at your stridency, certitude and self-regard. Hi folks!
Sinisterrouge, can you post a FAQ somewhere of exactly how people should express themselves? Just assert the rules -- no need to explain them. (Your judgment/personal preference is more than enough.)

Also, could you post menus and wardrobe items for every day of the week? It'll make it easier if we don't need to think about what to eat and wear.

Finally, your feelings are a revelation but they're also extremely subtle, so instead of repeating them ten times could you do so at least 20 times?

Awesome, Moe. Hope you don't get yourself driven off this site at some point. :(
Movie sounds like a bunch of BS, and the raves sound like the usual herd behavior:
