Honestly, I see where you're coming from but as an Austinite myself I can tell you that the idea that an Austin based booking agent couldn't find some amazing lady comics (right here in town!) is just ridiculous. In my personal opinion you really would have to be kind of avoiding the ladies to wind up with only one on the bill.
@femcatsf: "If he is such an awful father, why did it take her 3 years to realize it? If he has been calling Halle the N-word, why did she stick around so long, let alone allow him to father her child? "
I do feel the need to say that sometimes people do turn on a dime. I watched it happen with my mother's ex husband who started out as a wonderful father and within a matter of months became the most awful human being I have ever encounter.
Just saying, you never know.
*checking calendar to see if it's April 1*
@illustrator...er: It's easy to miss if the woman is heavy to begin with.
@MarzipanPersuasion: Ha! I'm so glad someone pointed this out!
@Oryx: It's hard not to think this is a common occurrence when such a staggering number of people on Jezebel alone have stories of friends and family members who were raped while volunteering.
@womanofsteele: I'm sorry to tell you this, but your mother is right. I have a three and a half year old sister and keeping her from Barbies would be impossible.
Honestly, though, it's something that makes her happy, and until I see some hard evidence that a damn doll will somehow psychologically scar her I don't give a hoot.
@Galvarez: It also shows up on your main page who is looking at your profile, so when the copycat comes back for new info (in the case of my copycat, my new picture) you see it.
@Xeraphim: Imagine someone went around re-posting your comments as their own shortly after you commented on anything. It brings up questions of motivations and is just an over all creepy thing.
!! This happened to me! One day when I logged on to OKCupid I saw that apparently I had looked at my own profile. Apparently "I" also now live in California (instead of Texas) and am a devout Catholic (athiest IRL).
I reported it and e-mailed the person so tell them to take it down but I haven't checked back in on it. I'm now wondering if it ever went down....

Creepy.
@TopLevelExecutive: "realize that your self-esteem and health is worth more than a job at a wack-ass channel that isn't worth the paper that your diploma is printed on."
I know this may sound silly, but I am all about the tone here. No coddling, no shaming, just "you are better than this" girl power.
Nicely done.
@lasercats: I'm jealous. I take my dog for a walk longer than a couple of blocks and he will abruptly stop and sit his tiny little ass down in the grass. It's clearly dog for "Okay we're done."
I've gotta say, Kate Walsh and Joel McHale may be the two most likable celebrities on twitter.
Also, how do *I* train *my* cat to assist my workouts?
@IncendiaryFairy: I am so sorry for your loss.
@ЖЕНЯ Gelbelman: I almost forgot about that exchange, and now I want to keep it on file for any racism related conversations.
Good find!
Or, you know, we could try to for once not see the worst in absolutely everything Sorkin says and give him the benefit of the doubt that maybe his comments weren't about or for us. Maybe they really were for his little girl.
I don't think it was the most well put comments, but to be indignant and call that man "self righteous" for something said specifically to someone else is, in and of itself, self righteous.
I think it would do us all well to just take this time and space to acknowledge the really awesome moment had by Chris Coolfer.
@Fitz and the Telecomics: Go to Snow's in Lexington! It's about an hour away and only open on Saturday mornings but promise you (PROMISE) it will be the greatest food you ever put in your mouth. Ever.

Ever,
@cinematheques: I suddenly NEED some chopped beef...
@iheartbabymonsters: I'm fine now, thanks.

Unfortunately that almost certainly wouldn't be absolute enough for anything to be done. He would have to make an actual, spelled out threat. Not implied.
@Hooplehead: If he hasn't, in writing, actually threatened to physically harm her the police can not do a damn thing.
