You don't have to believe what I said, but you don't need to mock me either. I wasn't trying to "sell everyone" on it, but responding to people who asked me what I heard. Thanks for your comment. I apologize if I jumped in unfairly. I don't think and did not mean to imply that your comments were in anyway racist. I sympathized with that guy because I'd read a previous comment where he mentioned being young, black, and gay and it just really made me sympathize with him. BUT that doesn't mean I agree with his hyper-sensitivity, and since I don't agree with the bulk of what he said (although I do support his right to say it), I probably should've kept my big mouth shut. I don't think there's a trend toward racism on this site-Jez is actually refreshing in it's open-mindedness. It annoys me that Tyra, Oprah, Beyonce, and Mariah get knocked so much but I don't think it's because of their race-I think it's their overblown publicity and overhyped personas that make them almost charicatures of themselves, and thus easy targets. Anyway, I hope I've made my stance clear, and I sincerely apologize if my commenting on the thread in any way validated HBP's accusations. You're one of the funniest peeps around and I love having you here.
