That is too cute! Goldie sounds like she's a good mom, plus she has your parents watching out for her. Before they know it, she'll be dropping the kids off to be babysat!

Any news on Goldie? Has she given birth yet? Baby raccoons are the cutest! I knew someone who was caring for an abandoned litter and I would go over and feed them bottles. Feeding baby animals bottles is the best!

I think if the world is destined to land in the hands of youth, then I'm not uncomfortable that you will be one of those wearing a mitt.

Thanks very much for the kind words and guidance re my weird-o "pre-existing condition". I actually don't think they're migrains. Everything I've read and felt has pointed to an obnoxious little condition called "neuralgia" including a friend who also has it (though mind is "occipital" and hers is a worse variety also known as "suicide disease"). But I fortunately have a very cool GP who recommended a neurologist right away because she recognized it as a nerve issue. I'm currently on medication also perscribed for people with epilepsy and I asked a MILLION questions of my doctor, the pharmacist and my mother (who administered the drug to my brother who was on it after a sports injury). Good luck with your own migrains and associated medications!
