Sounds like you're getting exposed to a lot of different areas of the law which is wonderful. I started in defense litigation which, as you said, paid well but was soul-destroying. Now I do transactional work and I love it.
Just so you don't think that I am too psycho, my comment was in
response to your reply to SinisterRouge: "I love your mendacity. Do you
really believe what you're saying, or are you an honest to goodness
villian? Because if it's the latter, that's awesome. I love me a good
hack, I'd hire Harold Ickes on the spot to work on my campaign. If it's
the former, your timeout here was clearly not long enough."
Primarily because I love the word mendacity. And mendacious, mendaciously, mendaciousness, etc.
Hi there- Interesting you went to OK. I was offered SC, OK and AK. I am not a hot weather person at all (NH is my home state) so I came up here 4 years ago to work for Tony Knowles and stayed. We didn't turn blue in '04 for sure, but we've won some big victories on the state and local levels. Progressives just took over the Anchorage Assembly (city council) for the first time since the 80s.

I'm glad you didn't take my random comment the wrong way. What kind of law do you practice?
