yea they carry garbage cat food-- and my cat love it ,but I nevery buy that shit for him
seriously get over it. who are you to tell people how to feel about their pets? to me an animal is as equally worthy of love and in need of protection (if not more) than a human being. so please get OVER it!
this is animal abuse. im fucking sickened. poor kitty. they have super sensative skin (its like paper), and it even hurts when they are brushed. that poor kitty must have suffered so much :(
I do believe in buying organic food for my cat, because i believe in buying organic food for myself. nothing fancy, but if i care what goes into my body, why should i treat him any different.
The thing with cats is, you cant MAKE them love something. no use buying fancy toys or food, they will eat and play with what THEY want.

for example,

I bought my kitty cat caviar ( tuna bonito flakes) for $10 (for a small container). Now I THOUGHT my cat would appreciate it and love it. instead he would not eat it. and when i attempted to salvage my money by spearding the flakes over his regular food, he got diarrhea and I woke up to poop on my pillow.

served me right for getting him some fancy shit, when all he wants is the $1 canned food from Canadian Tire.

The people in the "Bobble-Head" "Article"-- arent even that bad--- to make fun of someone for their figure is wrong either way and honestly gross.
this smells like overly-schmaltzy political correctnes....lighten up dude. its just an opinion.
the funny thing is, before The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, she was just some cure blonde girl that looked happy...they seem to want to hold her to her character, in hopes of making her more interesting/edgy...bad decision. she just looks like the miserable goth chick that interrupted the cheerleeders party
Also these are so cheesy, I wonder how the people on the 1996 cover feel...I actually laughed outloud when I saw it
oh man-- the 90s were so horrible-- case in point the 1995 cover...why is everyone in their underwear? why is SJP posing like that...and why is there "wind" in her hair when no one else has it in theirs?...why would they put Patricia Arquett right beside Nicole Kidman, thereby rendering her "frumpy"?...who is that person squatting down and about to get a whiff of Uma's ass?

so many questions...just so so many questions

I've had first hand experience with the Canadian justice system... I called 911 after being assaulted by my brother. when the police arrived my mother took his side and the police outright told me that they would do nothing. one officer told me "if you have a place to go to, go. otherwise we have a witness here who says you are lying"...now consider that I had bruises on the sides of my face and my brother's arms were covered with my nail marks where i had scratched him in self-defence.

that day was the day I realized i just had to get away, as the police really dont want to get involved with these things.

exactly-- why was the father present. she admitted to the abuse when he wasnt there...then you put the abuser and the abused in to a room, when the abused KNOWS she has to go home that night and LIVE with the abuser...ofCOURSE she will deny the abuse...

Im speaking from experience too.

Thats what I dont understand.

As an immigrant from Iran, I had this conversation over and over with my own father who wanted me to observe some of the cultural boundaries and rules of our country. Now to be fair to him it was never "do this or I'll kill you", but he was very restrictive in terms of my love life, my ability to leave the house and what I could wear. any attempts to dissent would be met either by pyhsical violence or more frequently verbal and emotional abuse.

His explanation always amounted to, "we brought you here for education but you should observe some morals"

I moved out of my house at 25 and never looked back... thank god.

By all accounts, the girls tried to get help several times, from school councilers, friends, police etc. Nobody was willing to go forward, in fear of offending some faint idea of "multiculturism".

I think thats why the word is so problematic. "honor killing" in itself is a cultural (and religious) matter. To sweep that under the rug is to ignore the fact that 4 innocent women died because the police didnt want to offend anyone's cultural sensetivities.

This was a crime, perpetrated (and defended in their sick minds) by a religious and cultural element. This needs to be addressed so that we can understand WHERE to draw the multicultural acceptance line...

wow some readers on this site just have to find the negative about EVERYTHING....I thought perhaps the headline was misleading...thats why I clicked. fucking some commenters on this site need to get some sunshine and vitamin D...try a little happiness and not criticizing EVERY successful person that comes into your path.
It was so bad that I thought the second two (non-white hand) commercials were Steven Colbert's OWN jokes...kind of like the fake news thing they do... Im amazed that someone actually thought airing those was a good idea...
