"Just right now the two lawyers in my office were talking about the wife of one of the clients who "allegedly" sexually abused her 6 year old son....and my first reaction was HOW does a mother sexually abuse her son... i was really skeptical...i didnt even believe it...but then i read the evidence and good god I need a shower. thing is we dont expect women to be sexual predators, because we see sexual predatory behavior as spurred on by unfulfilled sexual desire...but the truth is most sexual predators target kids due to the easy opportunity.... or maybe we dont expect women to be sexual predators because we dont see them as very sexual-- or we've baught into the whole "women are inherently nurturing and love kids" stereotype.... whatever it is, more focus needs to be put on understanding and identifying female sexual predators..."
