Hey there, lady, I totally did! I finished in my goal time of 2:20. It was so much fun. I used the Jeff Galloway run-walk-run method, which really kept me from bonking. Highly recommended.
How's your running going these days? How's the injury? Are you feeling better?

thanks so much for your support in the breakup thread today. That was really nice of you and it meant a lot to me!

I'm sorry you injured yourself! I went through that this December and for six weeks, every time I saw a runner or someone mentioned running to me, I got all snarly. I hope you'll be okay in time for Chicago, which, btw, the BF ran and loved. Except for the whole "hot as fuck" thing, which meant he finished in over four hours, but hey at least he didn't get carried out in a stretcher like some others did.
I haven't run any full marathons yet, but I'm running my first half in a month in Utah. I'm super excited - I've only run 5Ks and one 12K, so this will be a new experience for me. I find I really like those long, hard runs - they make me feel so floaty afterwards, it's better than drugs.

Hey, I just wanted to give you a shout-out, from one runner-Jez to another. I just took up running 10 months ago and I LOVE IT. How long have you been running? What distances do you do? I always get super excited to meet other ladies who run!
