"While watching the program, we noticed Mr. Brown's hair was very big," said Officer Fake, "we have reason to believe this is because it's full of secrets."
This whole controversy is kind of dumb. Damon Wayans was wearing tiny hats on In Living Color 20 years ago, and tiny hats, in general, seem like something that could go back to Vaudeville days. If the format of the two skits was incredibly similar, maybe there would be an argument, but Tim and Eric didn't invent tiny hats, so I'm not sure what they're so pissed about.
@Stinkerbelle: I don't think Tim and Eric really have an argument, to be honest: yes, they both involve tiny hats, but the skits are very different. And tiny hats aren't anything new: Damon Wayans was wearing tiny hats on In Living Color 20 years ago.
@sissylarue: I didn't laugh very often, I have to say, though I think perhaps it's just because poop jokes and booger jokes aren't really my thing. (Maybe I'm aging out of the SNL demo?) And there were a few things from last season (the Armisen advice sketch, for example) that maybe didn't need to be resurrected. I was happy to see the new people get some airtime; would have liked to see more of Nasim Pedrad, because she's great. I loved seeing the old cast members but it's also a reminder of what the show is currently missing (though I hope this season is a good one and gives us memorable characters and such).
