She isn't and I never made any generalizations. I also never said there weren't people who legitimately need medication. But all you have to do is look at television to see the million pharmaceutical ads selling medicine no one even knew they needed and promising to "cure" shit that no one had 10 years ago to see how lax we've become about taking pills for everything. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that we're over medicated and everything is diagnosed as a condition so everyone gets a pill is what we've been accustomed to as treatment. That has nothing to do with people who legitimately need medication and everything to do with the poor lifestyle choices we make in regards to our health. And it isn't just an issue of "her body her call." She can barely drive or move around anymore and depends heavily on my sister and her husband for care and travel. She's making choices that directly effect everyone in her life. It's nice to think she's only hurting herself but she isn't. Her love of pleasure is what got her in the situation in the first place. This whole "if it feels good, do it" attitude is such bullshit. It's very selfish to burden those you love just because you don't want to put down the cigarettes and eat a salad every once in a while.
Yet I don't remember anyone calling for a boycott of CBS or any articles calling for Sheen to be fired from "Two and Half Men" after his third domestic violence incident. Let's face it, the only reason people are still talking about this is because Rihanna is also famous. If she were just your average girl, no one would be saying a word right now. Race is also probably playing a factor.
Ugh. So they're going to have bunch of celebrity guest writers and they want us to kiss their asses? Why not just turn off the comments completely? If they don't want to hear people's criticism just shut down the comments section. And stories about donkey jizz are supposed to be for the most intelligent of the audience? #crosstalk
