This, 100%

I cry very, very easily, even when I really don't want to, and often at the worst possible moments- in the middle of an argument, in work situations, etc. I hate it because people think you are trying to manipulate them when all I really want is to NOT cry. Anyway, the only think that I have found to work is to take a very deep breath and hold it before exhaling slowly. It's not an easy thing to mask, either, but it;s better than bursting into tears.

or maybe I'd just rather eat a cupcake than a whole friggin cake?
they're still in the closet, for emergencies.
get the Domino Book of Decorating. it's pretty much all of their issues rolled into one book and it's fabulous.
twice a year, though. that's better than what we have now (nothing).
are we the same person? I wasn't that pressed at the time, but I would kill to flip through my Sassy stash all these years later. I had the very first issue onward.
fwiw I seriously doubt he's going to make much off of this. It's not like the Missoni sale where there were shoes and home decor items. I can't imagine people are going to pay 3x original price for a t-shirt or jersey dress. That's why he wouldn't let go of the handbags.
We each have our own definitions of what we consider to be jerky behavior or not. You're free to support this kind of behavior, but I choose not to. In my opinion he's gaming the system just like any other scalper or price gouger. If you're cool with that, whatever. I'm not, and I'd take my business elsewhere.
sure, but based on your same argument I as a consumer can also choose to spend my money on another DJ. of course it's legal to be an asshole, but he's still an asshole, and I tend to avoid his type in any kind of business transaction, be they services or retail. don't hate the player...etc, etc, etc.
Hmmm...there was a cat on the pitch at Barca's match this weekend, too. THE KITTES ARE UP TO SOMETHING!!!!!!
Arguably the other half of the reason is for the quality of the design or style. People who shop these sales are interested in purchasing a high level of design at a lower price. At least in theory.
sooooo sad that's not public!
Apparently, this guy is a working DJ in Miami, spins under the name DJ Midas. Now you know who not to hire should you be in the market for such services.

Okay probably not, but I am happy that he's not anonymous anymore. Ass.

I don't think so, there are really only laws against gouging in emergency situations.
I was at a Target in Miami (luckily, not this one) and was able to get in and get plenty of merchandise only arriving 15 minutes before opening. I know some people in line mentioned a 2 per-item, per-size limit on merch, but they were also browsing online so I don't know if maybe that's the online limit? Everyone shopping with me was really friendly and cooperative about switching out sizes or items they tried on and didn't like.

But I'll definitely be on the lookout for this dick should I ever try going to one of these sales again.

the poors? these dinners are like $5 a pop.
at the kid's dance school I always see posters about how so-and-so won gold at such-and-such and I can't be impressed because I'm pretty sure that "gold" means no higher than like 5th place by now.
Yeah, but has Womack kid won a Supa' DanzStarZZZZ Northwest Regional Platinum Gold Super Double Mini Junior Division Championship medal?

I think not.

the first 30 seconds of that video looked like my 8yo daughter's class on ballet observation day. by minute 2 i was like HOLY SHIT.

she's a lovely dancer. congratulations to her.

that cat is PISSED. someone better lock their door tonight (as if that ever stopped a cat with a job to do)
