Many of these girls are failed in so many ways. My son's 15 yr old classmate's parents encouraged her affair with a 35 yr. old married father, a drill sergeant at their school. He got psycho and controlling. Ultimately stabbed her. The parents thought he could "straighten her out". I got beat by a few boyfriends, stalked for years by one. It really IS low self-esteem, I think, that attracts them. Can you teach self esteem? I don't know, but you can try.
