Thanks for the words of support! Incredibly enough, I don't think the Saskatoon StarPhoenix has gotten around to digitally archiving the issue I was published in yet, but I will check back within the next few days and email you if/when I find it. Cheers!
Hey. I read your comment about Mirena. Just thought I'd chime in, since I've had it for about 3 years. I'm about to have it taken out because I want to be hormone free for a few months before I think about trying to get pregnant. I've generally found it pretty awesome, but there are two things I wanted to mention to you:
1. Recent research shows that the hormones ARE systemic, contrary to what my doc said when she put it in. (I.e. they do make it out of your uterus and into your bloodstream.) So if you're hyper-sensitive to synthetic hormones, you may still have an issue.
2. I can fee it sometimes, especially when I ride my bike. I want to get back in the saddle, which is another reason I'm having it out.
No worries, dove. I'm probably a bit too sensitive on those threads, coming from a recovered anorexic background. Nobody is an ass. We're all just learning something, know what I'm sayin?
This is an indication that strange, strange things go on in Oklahoma. This photo was taken in Elk City and the background is the side of a hardware store...
