Why thank you! Actually that's something more than one M.D. has told me. And sometimes a cold drags on for weeks and goes away without antibiotics. So I do like to be sure before I over medicate myself.

So if you don't mind I'll stick to the advice of medical experts, ok? I understand you find the ideas "half baked" but seeing as the people advising me have medical degrees from reputable institutions and I still actually don't want "bacteria" in my body to develop an immunity to antibiotics I'll just go ahead and stay the course. Rather then base my health on my own Googling of certain issues and concerns.

Uh as someone who suffers from plenty of sinus infections I can tell you antibiotics absolutely make a difference. I always try to hold out as long as possible in the hope the infection is simply viral because your body can build up immunity to antibiotics and that's a very bad thing. But when I cave after 3 weeks of sheer misery and get a scrip only to feel better in about 36 hours? Yeah. It's not in my head.

The problem is too many people think they have a bacterial infection when it's really viral. But they are prescribed the antibiotics anyway.

He doesn't believe in saying German-American but he's cool with Joe the Plumber? Makes sense.
Have you ever heard of a valid defense to a potentially criminal action? Laws don't exist in complete vacuums.
Holy hell! If you're posting this video you're part of the problem.
You can be a drug addict and loving father. It's possible, although obviously not an ideal situation. In cases of custody unless you follow along with both parties from day one you really have no idea what the situation is. There hasn't been a single allegation of abuse in this case.

No one walks out of family court happy with any result but you have to follow the court's orders or else it's fucking chaos. It's not a, "meh I'll do it if I feel like it" situation. I really can't side with any parent who's disobeying a custody order unless she/he has some objectively pressing fear that the child is in danger of abuse that the court isn't recognizing. And her going to jail "for her kids" is a ridiculous. He has visitation rights. He doesn't even have any real custody. They most likely aren't even staying overnight. So to avoid a visit with their father (by all accounts available to us, non-violent) she's willing to go to jail and upset their lives even further? Sounds like a very unreasonable position to me, and a decision that purports to be "for the children" but really isn't.

That is completely ridiculous. She could not be cited for failure to protect for following a court order.
Check out SCOTUS blog. They break it down pretty well, I'm sure they'll have a more in depth analysis soon. [www.scotusblog.com]
It was filmed in California.
Exactly. I mean remember, Joe the Plumber? Surely she has at least as much cred as that bonehead and he's been cashing in since 2008.
The infuriating part is you know she'll just hit the conservative lecture circuit and start cashing in like crazy.
They're probably fucking, yeah? /guh. now I need a shower.
I'm at work and can't watch the video but the transcript said she whispered it. It was the first time she saw him after the game and she whispered something supportive. I wouldn't do anything differently quite frankly.
I'm as irritated by the two of them as the next (non Boston) person but she's just being a supportive partner.
Yep. I also don't really understand the hysteria.
