Yeah, my husband has worked for him for years. Nice enough dude, but kind of a cheapass. Hope all is well for you on the job front. Things are just so bleak right now for lots of people. I hope the hell it gets better soon. Nice to see you again!

There's a Gawker Media Commenter Meetup in Vancouver BC this weekend and my increasingly-unreliable memory says that you're somewhere in Via/Amtrak range of there. If not, that's cool, but if you can make it we've got one spare sofabed chez moi (warning, I'm a horrible housekeeper) or plenty of room at the cheap, well-run hostels if that's how you roll.
