"The last Thanksgiving I attended with my folks, my mom announced that the minute anyone brought up politics she would promptly go into the kitchen and dump out as much booze as she could get her hands on. I heard last year that my Dad and brother in law started talking smack to each other so she went and shook up about 30 cans of beer and hid my dad's vermouth."

"Years ago I drove my newly widowed Grandmother to a funeral about 30 miles away, and she commented "I have never been in a car driven by a woman before!" and was nervous as hell.
