Why do you care what she's doing her dissertation on? No, really, why do you care? Did her cultural studies program take funding out of your pocket? Did she bump you for a tenured job offer?

And of course the lunch lady episode was all women. (Not that I have anything against that episode, it was fantastic. But cooks = women and chefs = men.) On the few occasions they've had an all female kitchen, it almost feels like a ploy to make sure that a woman (any woman) will win.
Yet, in my entirely unscientific memory, a majority of those female contestants are not the winners. Which is a hard thing to measure -- are they just not as good, or is their some lingering bias against what the female chefs produce/are trained/etc? Its something my husband and I comment on a lot when we watch the show.
Eh, it's not exactly spam, just .. you know. People seem to be pretty good about combating her position, so I'm going to leave it.

It is completely inappropriate for you to tell me I'm full of shit. The mods here are not editors or writers on this site and we don't dictate content. We are here, as volunteers, because most of us care about the community of commenters and do our best to keep it free from spam and maliciousness.
On most threads, the writers and editors don't spend a lot of time reading the comments. Complains and concerns ARE best addressed to them in emails. Whether or not they act on them is something else.
