This was exactly the problem I was having here in LA - my hair was always gross, and the shampoo just wouldn't wash out. (But my hair is very greasy, so not washing wasn't an option.) On the recommendation of another Jezzie I got an Aquasana water filter from Amazon and *poof*! Problem solved. It's hard water, and you need a shower filter.
When you say the two men haven't seemed to notice anything weird, do you mean that they just haven't approached you about it? I would find some time to talk with them about it individually, if you can. Even if they haven't noticed anything, get them to start noticing and see if THEY will say something when all four of you are together. If she's just trying to impress them, she might actually respond to a scolding from one of them. Or she might expand the silent treatment to include them and then at least you know it's not just you.

I make this same decision on a semi-regular basis. It's really hard, and you'll have a lot of people telling you you made a mistake. But I routinely see people who had goals similar to mine and then just got sidetracked and stuck/comfortable and completely abandoned their dreams. I know I can't live like that, even if other people can. So I am completely in your corner on this one, and just know that anyone who disagrees doesn't know you the way you know you and trust that it will work out. #Groupthink

Thanks! And yes, it really is a monster. The problem is (well, one of the problems is) that this isn't my only craft. So I also have drawers full of fabric and cabinets of beads. But I've decided that the place for the yarn is inside the two cubes I use as coffee tables, so when those are full, I can't buy any more. We'll see how long that lasts.

Hmm. On the one hand, I understand because I live 20 miles from my current job and I'm rather frequently 1/2 hour late because when you're driving on 20 miles of LA freeway, you have a very high likelihood of shit happening. But then, the only reason I can think to ask for a current photo is wanting someone who is NOT an actor and likely to disappear for auditions a lot. But there are better ways of saying that. Not-creepy, only slightly assholish ways. Even if you want someone who lives nearby, collect all the resumes and just weed out the ones with the wrong area code. So... inexperienced at hiring, creepy, and an asshole. Good thing they tell you that up front! #Groupthink
Mine makes more sense when it's not cropped down, but I guess I learned a lesson about thinking tall orientations would be just as accepted as wide ones. Also, I did a crap job of editing. This is the correct version, once I had more time to work on it. And these others are great!

How often is not that often? I almost never paint my nails, because when I do it can take 1-2 months for the now-brittle nail to grow out and my nails to get strong again. And yes, that's with a base coat. (Everything everyone else suggested is also good.) #Groupthink

I think every time I talk with a man who has the job I want to have and ask him how he got it, at some point along the line he found out about a job he wasn't qualified for and he lied impressively to get it, because he knew he could do it or figure it out.
