The thread's way off the front page but, I just saw your comment. I wanted to extra clarify that I would never tomboy bash, I'm pretty much 3/4 tomboy myself! (Under the eyeliner, ha). There's a big difference between girls who are into stereotypically male/nerdy things like myself, and the ones who feel like they have to disown anything and everything female to fit in with the boys. Those girls make the rest of us look bad, IMHO. So people assume if I say I love zombies, clearly I'm doing it to impress boys. Blech.
And I totally used to live on Something Awful, it was the first nerdy internet forum/site I really got sucked into waaay back in the day. Not so much now, cause I'm old and cranky...I'm like an crabby grandma on the porch, complaining about how all the youngsters got no respect. Let me get my Jack Daniels and my shotgun here, and like some Geritol...
