"@slightlyhardup: With extensive therapy, you can teach people with autism to cope with their disability - it's amazing how much progress somoene can make, going from nonfunctioning to being mainstreamed into regular classrooms. I am slightly autistic, and through a combination of diet, medicine and therapy, I was able at a young age to learn coping mechanisms that allow me to function almost fully in society."
