      "I'm pretty sure the term cougar actually originated in my hometown (Vancouver, Canada) as we've been using it for about 20 years and it only hit general vernacular in NY/London in the past few years (possibly because all us Canadians are cultural refugees, abandoning the Great White North in our master plan to take over the international media). Vancouver is notorious for the crap female-to-male ratio (estimated to be six to one if you take into account all the gays) and there is a huge stripper/prostitution population so men have it pretty sweet there, with lots of young attractive women."
