You're right. I was having a shit fit and was aggravated- mostly because I am really tired of the "maverick" label that he sports, that isn't really accurate. I am serious that I wish you wouldn't be fooled by his ploy. Choosing Palin was all about pandering. I apologize for being snide though.

Myself, I am pretty far to the left, but I like rational discourse, which can happen here sometimes, if you sift through it all. I thank you for bringing up issues we all should think about. Anna knows you are not a troll and so do some others. Jezebel should be large enough to encompass any women, and men, who want to talk civilliy to each other.

I wish there was more coverage of the full extent of the casualities of the war - we always mention those who have died but in many ways, those who have not died have it worse. I want to see our politicians support our veterans, not pretend they don't exist. You are really growing with what you get to experience, I hope you start writing about it somewhere!

You might think this is funny - I went to FSU and knew nothing about football. I always gave away the tickets we got. I could hear the roaring from the stadium in my grad housing, a mile away!

Actually there wasn't one comment from me you ignored and changed topic on, there were several, and there were several from other people as well. You didn't leave the site 'til well after that so stop using that as an explanation. But I don't really want to put more energy into a personal debate, as I don't think it's productive to bash each other when the issues are the point.
