Not the most tasteful delivery but Rick Ross referenced a miscarriage in "Live Fast, Die Young."

"She had a miscarriage I couldn't cry though,
'Cause you and I know she was only my side hoe"

It caught me off guard the first time I heard it.

Those Missoni nails look like something my gal Spifster could do... but way more fun! [spifster.tumblr.com]
People think I'm crazy for not respecting Justin Timberlake after that. I'm glad I'm not the only one still side eyeing him.
This is a great point. I think many people don't realize that social workers have ethical guidelines and principles to follow, how serious we are about them, and how important they are to the services we provide.

I'm a MSW student and we talk about the NASW ethics all the time. I really really really hope the people involved aren't social workers because they have committed some egregious violations of the code of ethics...
I love my Turbie Twists. I find it's really great for drying my curls without making them too frizzy. In fact, I made a mental note the other day to buy every one in my family one for Christmas. I wouldn't buy them 4 for $20 though- Big Lots usually has them for $2.50 in assorted colors and patterns (ZEBRA!!)
I love AZ sofuckingmuch... that is all!
I was just about to say this. I have trouble remembering some of my childhood and a lot of high school. I know I was depressed during highschool but in hindsight I was probably mildly depressed as a child.
your response forthemotherfuckingWIN! And you just reminded me how much I like Robin DG Kelley.
I would agree. Downstate IL seems like a whole 'nother world.
As a DSW employee (who just got off so I'm still in work mode) I would agree with you about the black brown thing... it just so happens that pewter is big this season. Big whoop!
I agree totally. I don't work out nearly enough but I've resolved to not feel guilty about eating then punish myself by working out more. I don't understand the whole "guilt and compensation" spiral people find themselves in.
"This is dirty secret no one on this board is willing to say, Rap and Hip-Hop are still considered alien and somehow outside mainstream American ways."

I wish I could make this bold and bump it up to 72pt. Thank.YOU!
"That hip hop should have to shoulder the burden for the entire mainstream patriarchal rape culture is another matter though."
That's the issue with Ashley Judd's argument. Rap/Hip-hop is a symptom not a cause of the problem. It's an easy scapegoat... almost too easy though...
Multiple transactions are fine within reason. One of the ladies called in five friends to complete her transactions meaning the lane she was in was stopped while the cashier waited for her friends to show up... that's extreme to me.
Last night, I was cringing while I watched them check out and I felt so bad for the cashiers who had to ring them up in several different transactions. I don't get it either.
"I looked really good on the outside… I had a lot of anxiety and insomnia. I realized eventually that I was really powerless over my childhood."

The story of my LIFE! I'll be ordering her book...
Looking at text messages in a car makes me nauseous. I tried a similar thing and I was fine... you're laying down and it's not much movement.
I've done a similar thing in Chicago at a really nice placed called Space Time Tanks. The "vibrating bed" I tried is called NexNeuro and it was actually really interesting and worth the money. It kind of feels like your insides are vibrating along with the soundtrack you're listening to... It's hard to describe but I highly recommend it. I only paid $20 for 20 minutes though which was enough to make me contemplate buying a NexNeuro system. Still trying to figure out if I want to spend $1300 on a total relaxation system.
I seriously almost fought by boyfriend over a container of Chobani pineapple. He wanted to eat the last one and I wasn't havin' it. No sharing Chobani pineapple for me!
