Fine I disagree with you. And it's certainly not their responsibility to be concerned about why girls are starting puberty earlier (breast development, not necessarily menarche which has consistently been 12 1/2 since the 60's) just to sell pads. This is America.
But eliminating pretty pads won't change the fact girls are starting puberty earlier either. The sparkly pads stay. And Kotex isn't responsible for that kind of research, they are doing what they are supposed to do. Servicing a demand for tween pads.
Sometimes there is nothing you could do. Eating organically from birth won't magically delay puberty until 13.

Exactly. If I woke up every morning thinking about who's out to oppress me I might not get up out of bed at all. Yes at times it's hard being a woman and/or a person of color but if I thought about it all day everyday I wouldn't even bother trying to reach my full potential.
Oh I agree. I could imagine that these kids are not eating well and she has rights as a principal to run her school they way she wants. She should have just banned chips, soda, lunchables, kool-aid, capri-sun, and whatever junk food. That way it gives parents the option of a half-way healthy meal or buy school lunch.
