Last year, we learned that spas in China had started offering "fish pedicures," in which live fish eat away the dead skin on your feet. Today Good Morning America reported that the practice is gaining popularity Stateside, in finer establishments such as Yvonne's Hair and Nail Salon in Alexandria, Virginia. While plugging the segment earlier in the show, Diane Sawyer seemed understandably disturbed, and we expected there would be some girlish squealing when it came time to dip her feet in fish-infested waters. But we underestimated what a true pro Diane is. In the clip above, Diane proves she is not only fearless, but completely elated about having fish chew her at her dead skin on national television. Have you seen those cheesetastic and nasty commercials for PedEgg on TV? Apparently an actor-couple (also featured on the Amazing Race) featured in the commercial are super-pissed (and suing PedEgg's manufacturer) at the "cheap, low quality" of the ads and the fact they are being played worldwide on television. (The actors would have never agreed to appear in a commercial with "horror make up" on their feet if they knew they would be grossing out people worldwide.)
