One Direction Is Taking a Break From Each Other

Latest

One Direction fans will have to start planning their mourning attire. Just a couple of days after they were launched into outer space in the video for the song, “Drag Me Down,” One Direction has reportedly decided to take at least a year off to focus on solo projects. The hiatus will begin in March 2016.

This also means that the boy band’s fifth album, which is due out later this year, will not have a supporting tour. A source told The Sun:

“The guys have been together for five years, which is an incredible run for any boyband. They fully deserve to have at least a year to work on their own projects.
There is absolutely no bad blood between them and they are all 100 per cent behind the decision.
It is definitely not a split and they fully intend to get back together at some time in the future.
But for now it is the end and they go out on top as the world’s most popular music act.”

SCREAMS. The boys have been going through some intense transitions this year. First, Zayn left the band, then Louis became a baby daddy and Harry just keeps falling.

I can’t help but go back to that cold day in April 2002, when N*SYNC announced they were going on a temporary hiatus. Like Zayn, Justin Timberlake went solo, though he created one of the best albums that has ever been made. The boys never got back together. I fear this will be the same destiny for 1D.
