OMG Someone Figured Out How To Make Arrested Development's Cornballs

Latest

This is not a drill. Everyone, I repeat, this is not a drill. Perhaps the most brilliant person ever in the history of the human race has devised a recipe that will allow you to create the delicious, but inexplicably dangerous concoctions made from George Bluth Sr’s infamous ‘Cornballer.’

Holy shit, and they’re vegan! How nice, says the woman who just wolfed down two servings of Clem Mikeska’s beef brisket.

Here are the magical ingredients. For the full recipe and step by step guide, head over to Hello Giggles and check out Randy Milgram’s awesome post:

  • 1/2C all-purpose or whole-wheat flour
  • 1/2C cornmeal
  • 1t salt (fried things must be salty)
  • 1t baking powder
  • 1/2C frozen corn kernels
  • 4T olive oil
  • 1/4C unsweetened plain almond milk
  • 1T flax for one flax egg (see below)
  • lots of oil for frying

Before you jump into the ‘frying pan,’ so to speak (hahaha, no that was a terrible joke, sorry), let’s take a look at how the legend of the Cornballer began:

“Every damn time!”
