Over the weekend, new details have come out about the interactions between news anchor Greg Kelly and the woman who accused him of rape last week—and the plot has certainly thickened. First, it's becoming more clear what happened the night of the alleged assault. It was initially reported that Kelly, who co-hosts Fox 5's Good Day New York, had met the woman the same night she claims the attack happened, but, in fact, they met two days prior when she recognized him from TV on the street. What followed were two days of sexually explicit text messages. An unnamed source described the interaction to the New York Post as "two days of foreplay." More »

A day after we learned that Greg Kelly, co-host of Fox 5's Good Day New York and the son of New York City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly, had been accused of rape, new details are emerging about the alleged attack and its aftermath. Yesterday, we found out that Kelly met the his accuser on the street, and, after going out drinking, the pair ended up in her office at a downtown law firm where she says the incident occurred. Today we learned that the woman told police that she was "virtually passed out" when Kelly allegedly assaulted her. New York City cop Michael Pena was indicted yesterday on charges that he abducted and raped a schoolteacher in upper Manhattan while armed. His lawyers said, "Whatever happened, there was certainly no intent on the part of Michael Pena to hurt anybody. There was no intent to sexually abuse anybody." In that case! Meanwhile, The New York Post has early word that Pena previously cost the city $25,000, apparently for a settlement, for a 2009 assault and battery of a man, Anthony Mosley, that also involved a "vicious body-cavity search" that, in the words of the lawsuit, "beyond all possible bounds of decency." Details are scant, except for a statement by an NYPD spokesman: "There was no admission of wrongdoing." More »

A 28-year-old woman in New York who spotted a man taking pictures up her skirt as she was entering a subway station decided to turn her camera on the perv and took a cell phone picture that eventually led to his arrest. On Tuesday, the NYPD arrested Aaron Olivieri on misdemeanor charges of unlawful surveillance, attempted sexual abuse and harassment. With cell phone cameras becoming more and more popular, woman targeted by street and subway harassers are encouraged (when it is safe) to snap pictures of pervs to fight back. One website, Hollaback NYC, encourages victims to post pictures and stories of harassment and the NYPD encourages people who witness crimes to send pictures to 911 when they call.
