Paul LeBlanc, a stylist with a salon in New Brunswick, Canada, is the man responsible for the odd '70s hairdo worn by Oscar-winner Javier Bardem in No Country For Old Men. During his acceptance speech, Bardem acknowledged the tricky tresses: "I want to thank the Coens for being crazy enough to think that I could do that and put one of the most horrible haircuts in history on my head," he said. LeBlanc is thrilled. It's very good for [the Coen brothers] and for me," he says. He's worked with the Coens for years. "It's a film that will have a long life and it's nice to know that my art will live on as well." Leblanc also claims that fashionable people in L.A. are asking for a "Bardem cut." Um, sure, dude. Sure. [International Herald Tribune]
