New Year's Day Social: What's The Strangest New Year's Superstition?

Earlier today, BT.com published a list of the strangest New Year’s Day superstitions that people live by. Things like cleaning your house (fine, did that last night), eating a hearty meal (K, did that, too) and avoiding crying cats. Wait, what?

The list is here, but the cats thing is one of the weirder selections on the list. As is the fact that you shouldn’t do laundry on January 1st. And that’s my excuse for wearing the same t-shirt three days in a row. It’s got kittens in tacos on it.
