Luckily, her story has a happy ending. It reminds me of the time I went to see my friend who was doing one of her first open mike nights and as she was walking up to the stage, some bro shouted “you’re pretty!” and it was just super fucking annoying. She’s going up there to tell jokes, and what you think of her appearance has nothing to do with anything. Shut your mouth, guy. (Unless it’s to open it to laugh at her hilarious routine, which was hilarious.)
