MADtv Is Celebrating Its 20th Anniversary With a Reunion Special

MADtv, the sketch comedy series that ran from 1995 to 2009 on Fox and launched the careers of Keegan-Michael Key, Alex Borstein and Ike Barinholtz, will return for a 20th anniversary special reuniting many of its cast members.

According to Deadline, the hourlong MADtv 20th Anniversary Reunion will bring back the show’s alumni for a “glamorous award ceremony to honor the series, but in classic MADtv fashion, nothing goes as planned.” Popular sketches from its Emmy-winning, 14-season run will also be highlighted, and new material will be featured. Cast members returning for the reunion include Key, Borstein and Barinholtz, along with Crista Flanagan, Anjelah Johnson, Nicole Randall Johnson, Phil LaMarr, Artie Lange, Bobby Lee, Michael McDonald, Arden Myrin, Nicole Parker, Eric Price, Will Sasso, Aries Spears, Nicole Sullivan, Stephanie Weir and Debra Wilson.

The reunion special airs on the CW on January 12. CW Seed will also exclusively stream 75 of the best MADtv episodes, beginning in early January 5.
