Lorde Knows She Looks 'Like Gollum' When She Performs

In between hanging out with her OMFG HOW COULD SHE BE DATING HIM boyfriend and becoming besties with Taylor Swift, Lorde took to Reddit Sunday to answer questions both important (what kind of shampoo does she use?) and mundane (what will her next single be?).

What we learned:

She will be performing at at least one major festival in North America in 2014 (TBD which) but she's not sure which song will become her next video

You will soon be able to buy "simple and beautiful" Lorde merchandise, which "will feature embroidery"

She has an eclectic taste in books and movies:

She knows she looks weird onstage:

i know when i'm onstage, i don't think about how it looks, i just concentrate on really feeling what i hear. but i totally know i look like gollum when i perform, so it's cool.

She's not sure if she'll go back to school but she does know how to name-drop Jennifer Lawrence to get in people's good graces:

not sure yet! obviously it's hard at the moment, although i do read theses/academic writing from teachers regularly. i read this cool thing jennifer lawrence said the other day about learning about the world through books vs. her real world experience, and i'm definitely feelin that right now. but maybe that's just a lazy person's excuse

She doesn't know what shampoo she uses because her mom buys those big bottles from the supermarket. And she though she hates going to the dentist, she is obsessed with teeth.

She has no regrets about starting to work in the music industry so young:

actually, no. i feel like i learnt early on how things worked and that gave me a good understanding of what could be fucked with/which rules were dumb and shouldn't have to be followed. plus, i can sit down with basically the most intimidating people in the industry and not flinch. and maybe even make them flinch. or cry. heh.

And she loves that Nicki Minaj interview clip:
