Lindsay Lohan Joked About Rehab and Sam Ronson on Chelsea Lately

Last night’s Chelsea Lately swapped a vodka-soaked host for a dried out one as Lindsay Lohan, fresh from rehab and promoting The Canyons (which Lindy West loved, by the way), stepped into the spotlight to sub for usual host Chelsea Handler.

Lohan has long been a favorite target for Chelsea Lately‘s panel of comedians and the situation easily could have turned awkward, but all in all, Lohan was self-deprecating, present and gracious seeming. She even poked fun at her own criminal record, dating history and very public struggles with substance abuse, at one point saying, “I’m physically allergic to [vodka] so that’s my thing.” When asked what happens when she drinks it, Lohan responded, “I end up in rehab and jail. Rightfully so.”

She also joked about her past relationship with British DJ Samantha Ronson. “Harry Styles was on the cover of British GQ,” Lohan told the live audience. “He was questioned by the interviewer about whether he’s bisexual with a DJ named Nick. I’ve been there.”

While brief stint as host was self indulgent at times (unsurprisingly, Lindsay Lohan’s favorite topic seems to be Lindsay Lohan), Lohan’s appearance on the show was an altogether successful one. Grool!
